Board members

Michael Tokarz
Michael Tokarz, serves as the Chairman of the PEPA Board Mr. Tokarz is a senior investment professional with over 30 years of lending and investment experience. Mr. Tokarz also serves on the Board of the University of Illinois Foundation and its Investment and Executive Committees, as well as Chairman of the Budget and Finance Committees. He is also active on the Endowment Committee and Board of Directors of the National Wildlife Federation. He received his undergraduate degree with High Distinction in Economics and MBA in Finance from the University of Illinois and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Richard Berman
Richard Berman is president of Manhattanville College. For more than 30 years, Mr. Berman has been dedicated to serving his community at every level — in public and private sectors, and at the national, state and local levels. President Berman also serves his community beyond campus with a number of leadership activities including acting as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Seeds of Peace, Board Member of Emblem Health (HIP). He also serves on the Commission on Advancement of Racial & Ethnic Equality of the American Council on Education.

Earl H. Doppelt
Earl H. Doppelt, is Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Information Services Group, Inc (ISG) Based in Stamford, Conn., ISG is an information-based services company that acquires and grows businesses in advisory, data, business and media information services. Prior to November 2006, Mr. Doppelt served as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of VNU, now The Nielsen Company, a leading global information and media company. He has lived in Purchase for 26 years.

Peter Flanigan
Peter Flanigan is a lifelong Purchase resident. He works as an advisor of UBS Warburg. He is also the Founder of the Student-Sponsor Partnership and the Patrons Program, former Chairman of Children First America, Co-Chairman of St. Ann's School in Harlem, Board Member of the Children's Scholarship Fund and the I Have a Dream Program, Founder of the Center for Educational Innovation, and former Director of the White House Council of International Economic Policy.

Fran Klingenstein
Fran has over 20 years of real estate experience in Westchester County, specializing in sales and listings in the communities of Rye, Rye Brook, Harrison and Purchase. Fran is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the New York State Association of Realtors, the Westchester County Board of Realtors and the Rye/Harrison Multiple Listing Service. She also acts as volunteer and supporter of many nonprofit organizations including the Purchase College School of the Arts. She has been a resident of Purchase for over thirty years and is a graduate of Connecticut College.

Anne Gold
Anne Gold is PEPA's Executive Director as well as Secretary to the Board. Additionally, she currently works as Aide to President for Community Relations at Manhattanville College. She has extensive experience in developing and managing communication strategies for nonprofit organizations.
